The depth of great musicianship in jazz is overwhelming. I just discovered Eric Dolphy tonight. I could spend years exploring his music.

I'm anxiously awaiting the Bohemian Rhapsody movie. If nothing else, it will be filled with great music!

On one hand, I feel like completely unplugging from current events for a while to maintain what's left of my sanity. On the other, I feel it's the obligation of everyone opposed to what's happening in the world to stay engaged and fight like hell.

It was a busy time for the group, but the recordings from that session never saw the light of day, until now. Both Directions at Once: The Lost Album is being released THIS FRIDAY. You can hear it in its entirety at 3pm Pacific (as well as classic Coltrane cuts ALL DAY).
