I am not a huge coder (by any stretch!), I am an old school sysadmin and even ran a github enterprise instance for my uni. I was never really impressed and still wondered about why you would want to centralize a decentralized VCS (before devops became really talked about in my mini ecosystem).
I think for my little projects I am looking at #fossil or maybe #kallithea ?
