Mainstream corporate #Democrats would rather lose than shave off just the sharpest edges of our current version of #capitalism. Direct government help would be so much better than overly complicated "market solutions" (looking at you #ACA), but as the author writes:

The party - not the oligarchs that have had it in a chokehold my entire adult life, but the party itself, had one chance: Sanders 2016. They elected to dive off a cliff instead, wit their large piles of money to catch them at the bottom. fuck the world, that's the American way.
