On one hand, I feel like completely unplugging from current events for a while to maintain what's left of my sanity. On the other, I feel it's the obligation of everyone opposed to what's happening in the world to stay engaged and fight like hell.

OK, Punkbook the Second is working VERY well with slicing.
Simplify3D only cares about core count when slicing... more cores, the better for the threaded processes.
So a 4 core N4100 is an excellent cheap as crap option here.

@tek Oh how funny I just bought some. It's Peet's style if that means anything to you, so yeah it's dark. Not many places carry them in SF and the ones that do aren't always super careful about rotation, so I usually go get bags from the Ferry Building on Saturday.

Never mind the ugly website: if you're a programmer tasked with making diagrams, PlantUML is your buddy. You can describe them in editor- and VSC-friendly plaintext like:

I'm moving my digital life away from corporate hosts. It has been complicated, but is coming along. I've moved some services out of the US because of European laws on sharing but plan to host the majority at my home soon. Will likely maintain minimal presence in corporate hosts.
