I see that, since January 2022, the number of cases has fallen much faster than the number of hospitalisations and the number of weekly deaths. So much for the idea that #Covid was going to get milder!
Interestingly, the PCR positivity rate has been roughly constant over that period, even though the number of new infections has fallen. Does that mean each infection lasts longer than it used to, or have we changed the way we administer PCR tests?
Study in The Lancet Infectious Diseases finds that SARS2-positive patients get other infections more frequently.
And I always thought it must have been the lockdowns.
