Missed this much earlier today, but (as you might imagine) FedEx had delays today. (Friday)

Which really, really sucks if you are getting frozen food on a Friday (speaking from experience in the past)... and they delay it until a Monday.

We left some things at a hotel recently. They said they'd ship them to us but it would be $41. A bit steep but probably cheaper than buying new. The package was delivered last week and today we woke up to a notice from FedEx that the actual charge was $181 and they had deducted that amount from our credit card. I can't call FedEx because without an account number, their phone tree just hangs up on you and their virtual assistant is useless. I don't ship but if you do, avoid FedEx. #fedex #scam

3. au bout de quelques minutes d'attente, vous serez enfin en contact avec un *vrai* employé du service client aimable comme une porte de prison 👍

Sigh. What is the point of #FedEx having a tracking page that clearly states "delivered" if when you raise a non-delivery complaint they say
"We would like to inform you that your parcel has been handed over to
our local agent for further delivery to your address. You can expect
it to arrive shortly."

That *isn't* deiivered, it's en-route.

#MISSISSIPPI IS RACIST AS FUCK so it's not surprising that a #racist #Judge #dismissed all #charges against a couple of #white #men that #shot at and tried to #kill a #black #FedEx driver there back in 2022.

FedEx needs to suspend all service in Brookhaven, Mississippi immediately! Otherwise they're clearly sending a message that they are okay with the white men in Brookhaven shooting at their black drivers.

Okay, so … Framework & FedEx _delivered_ my new laptop, from Taiwan, before large German online electronics retailer notebooksbilliger.de managed to even _ship_ the RAM and storage that I've ordered simultaneously.

It took less than 60 hours from submitting the order, or less than 44 hours from when Framework sent me a shipping confirmation.

And, mind you, I've ordered this thing on December 30, not in an ordinary week.
