@jalefkowit The guy next to me in boot camp was a good person. Nice as could be, utterly dedicated to doing the right thing, well meaning.

Also dumb as a box of rocks. He had an ASVAB waiver, which I didn't even know was a thing, to get in even though he didn't meet the minimums.

I sometimes wonder how life worked out for that guy. I hope it's going well.
