@tek this is why I am extremely leery of non open source mobile apps. You can't trust them. It's like they put together the most offensive dystopian ideas into their business.
Google is going the same way too. I would switch to an open source os if my carrier allowed it and the phone's price was something I could afford.
This is why I want to make a portable raspberry pi.
@sowth Agreed. Also, when I'm named God Emperor of All I Survey, I will mandate standards for privacy policies. They may only consist of tags like "#sellyourdata" or "#keepnologs", where each of those has a strict legal meaning. Then you can visually scan the policy in about 3 seconds to see if it's something you care about.
